President's Message
Greetings Fellow Rotarians!
Another great week with lots to share! I want to take a moment to wish you all a very sweet new year, SHANA TOVA!! In case you missed last week's meeting, we celebrated Rosh Hashanah together with some traditional Jewish food, great speakers, and amazing fellowship!
I invite all of our members who belong to different faiths and cultures to consider bringing a taste of their heritage to our Club as strive to create a club culture that is open and inclusive.
Let's plan our next cultural celebration together!!
On another note, I want to make sure everyone is aware of our Social Event this week, graciously being hosted on Dave and Nancy's beautiful boat! Please make sure to RSVP as soon as possible as spots are limited.
Our Club continues to make an incredible impact in our community! Last week we invited these fabulous women from Sojourn, The People Concern, to speak about the work they are doing to combat domestic violence and provide life saving resources to women and children to end the cycle of abuse. This was an extension to our first service project providing duffle bags stuffed full of products and items to support safe transitions and gift cards that each recipient can use to buy personal items and necessities.
We put out the CALL TO ACTION and our membership responded in full force! We look forward to our continued partnership and for any member looking for more information and ways to support, click the link below to visit their website!
