3.) Weekly Rotary Structure - VERY IMPORTANT
  • First and foremost, thank you to our amazing partners at the Del Rey Yacht Club for providing a meeting space for us! We have met with DRYC leadership and have come up with a great plan:
    1. 1st Thursday of the month will be a happy hour hosted in a different location each month to spread the love and fun around the Marina community!
    2. 2nd Thursday of the month will be a meeting at DRYC. Dinner, keynote speakers, raffles, bar, and more!
    3. 3rd Thursday of the month will be a service project.
    4. 4th Thursday of the month will be a meeting at DRYC. Dinner, keynote speakers, raffles, bar, and more!

GET INVOLVED!

If you haven't already joined a club committee, then consider joining one of these and get up in the actions!

" Do not ask what your Club can do for you - ask what you can do for your Club." (I believe JFK was indeed referring to this moment in time with the formation of the Marina del Rey Rotary Club!)

CONGRATULATIONS ROTARIANS!

We want to recognize our newest members to the Rotary family! Rikki Barker, Debra Fixen, Jill Peterson, Joan Shaver, and Lalo Marquez are not only Charter Members of the Marina del Rey Rotary Club, they are in fact brand new to Rotary International as well! WELCOME!!
PARTNER ON THE HORIZON HONOREES

We are proud to share that two of our very own MdR Rotarians have been honored by the Boys & Girls Club Sailing Program! Debra Fixen & Jill Peterson received the Partner on the Horizon Award for their dedication to the youth sailing program. Because of their leadership, the Boys & Girls Club now has a physical space in Fisherman's Village to call home for the Youth Sailing Headquarters! WOW! Way to represent!!
