Greetings Fellow Rotarians
Last week, Our Club Members came together in the true spirit of Rotary – Service Above Self – to host a Thanksgiving Dinner honoring our amazing Veterans, and District Governor, Albert Hernandez, joined us to induct two of our newest members, Joe and Maria Davis!
This special evening was a testament to the power of community and gratitude. Surrounded by warmth, fellowship, and delicious food, we celebrated our veterans, whose sacrifices have safeguarded the freedoms we cherish.
I extend my deepest thanks to the Club Culture Committee and our Director of Community Relations, Monica Trepany, for organizing a truly inspiring evening! Tracey, Nancy and Monica, you all knocked it out of the park!
We even had a little bit of a surprise! LIVE entertainment from the one and only, Mr. Julian Miranda, who sang the National Anthem and few other songs to honor our Vets! Julian has toured with some of the biggest names, including Enrique Iglesias, Rick James, Teena Marie, and Taylor Dayne, to name a few!! I have a feeling we may be seeing more of Julian in the future!!
As we reflect on this Thanksgiving, let’s carry forward the values of service and compassion that define Rotary and remind us of the strength in unity.

XMAS Kickoff & Special Dance Performance - Dec 5
Please join us for this special meeting where we invite Free 2 Be Me Dance to give a special holiday performance! This wonderful organization offers dance classes designed specifically for people with disabilities in mind so that they have the same opportunities as their peers to reach their goals. Through technical training and performance opportunities, our dancers get the depth and breadth of a standard dance education tailored just for them.
Let's have an excellent member turnout for this meeting! Please bring a guest and let's fill the room for these amazing dancers!!
Holiday Adopt A Family - Dec 12
We will be sharing the details soon with everyone, however, please plan to join us as we share a special Christmas dinner with our Seniors that will include music and crafting decorations for their rooms/homes.
Holiday Boat Parade Party - Dec 14
Join us at Fisherman's Village for one Marina Del Rey's most famous annual events, the Holiday Boat Parade! This year's theme is Margarittaville and thanks to our amazing Club Members, Jill Peterson and Debra Fixen, we are all invited to host a very special holiday party with the perfect view of the parade! Make sure you save the date for our first official Marina del Rey Holiday Extravaganza - Details to come but as of right now we are looking to have this event at the home of Dave & Nancy Voss. STAY TUNED!
