Dear Marina del Rey Rotarians,

As we close out our Rotary year and prepare to welcome a new chapter, I want to take a moment to express the deepest gratitude from the bottom of my heart.

Serving as the Inaugural President of the Marina del Rey Rotary Club has been the greatest professional honor of my life. When we launched this Club just a year ago, we stepped into the unknown with bold vision, shared purpose, and a commitment to service above self. What we’ve built together is nothing short of extraordinary.

This year has been filled with unforgettable milestones, impactful service projects, powerful community partnerships, and unforgettable moments of camaraderie. From local outreach to laying the groundwork for our first international hands-on project, we have shown what’s possible when passionate people come together for good.

We’ve laughed, we’ve learned, we've overcome, and we’ve grown, both as individuals and as a Club. We’ve set a foundation that will serve generations to come, and I could not be more proud of how far we’ve come in just twelve short months.

Now, it’s time to pass the baton. I am thrilled to welcome Tracey Thompson Busa as our next Club President. Her dedication, vision, and leadership will take us even further, and I am confident she will continue to build on this incredible momentum.

Thank you to each and every one of you for believing in this dream, for showing up, and for being part of something so meaningful. The Marina del Rey Rotary Club is just getting started, and I can’t wait to see what comes next!

With heartfelt gratitude and unwavering Rotary spirit,

Kurtis Sundblom
