Dear Marina del Rey Rotary Family,  

 

What an incredible week it has been for our club! As we reflect on the past few days, it’s clear that the spirit of service and community runs deeply through everything we do.  

We started with a joyous celebration of the Lunar New Year and welcomed the Year of the Snake in style. This event marked our club’s first-ever Lunar New Year celebration, and it was made even more special as we proudly inducted two new members into our Rotary family!! Please join me in extending a warm welcome to Julia  and Debbie Sue!! Your passion for service and community is inspiring, and we are thrilled to have you with us!  

 

Club members also represented our Marina del Rey Rotary at the District 5280 Breakfast, where we connected with fellow Rotarians and shared updates about our impactful initiatives. Thank you to everyone who attended and made our presence felt.  

 

On top of that, we were delighted to host Councilwoman Traci Park at the Heart of the Harbor this week. Her visit underscored the importance of partnerships in building stronger, more vibrant communities, and we’re grateful for her continued support of our Rotary mission. 

 

We also partnered with the Boys & Girls Club’s Mobile Wellness Pop-Up and Airport Marina Counseling Service this weekend, which brought much-needed services to kids and families at the Heart of the Harbor! It was heartwarming to see so many smiles and feel the impact of providing access to health and wellness resources where they’re needed most!

 

This week has been a testament to the power of Rotary and the difference we can make together. Thank you all for your dedication and enthusiasm—let’s keep the momentum going as we continue to serve and uplift our community.
