President's Message


Dear Friends of the Marina del Rey Rotary Club,
 
It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I welcome you to the inaugural year of the Rotary Club of Marina del Rey. Being chartered in July 2024 marks a significant milestone for our community, and I am honored to serve as the club's president during this exciting time.
Our club’s formation is a testament to the collective spirit and dedication of each member who believes in the power of Rotary to make a difference locally and globally. As we embark on this journey together, let us remember the core values that Rotary stands for: Service Above Self, Fellowship, Diversity, Integrity, and Leadership. These principles will guide our actions and decisions as we strive to create a positive impact in our community and beyond.
 
We invite all members of the Marina del Rey community, as well as prospective members, to join us in our mission. Whether you are interested in participating in service projects, attending fellowship events, or supporting professional development activities, there is a place for you in our Rotary family. Our goal is to address the immediate needs of our community while fostering long-lasting relationships and partnerships that will support sustainable change.
 
One of the primary focuses for our club this year will be on enhancing educational opportunities for the youth in our community. We believe that investing in education is crucial for building a brighter future, and we will work closely with local schools and organizations to support this cause. Additionally, we will continue to uphold Rotary’s commitment to eradicating polio and supporting health initiatives worldwide.
As we move forward, we embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead with optimism and determination. Together, we can build a vibrant and impactful Rotary Club that will leave a lasting legacy in Marina del Rey.
